ATP(A) Airline Transport Pilot Integrated

The aim of the course:

The aim of the ATP(A) integrated course is to train pilots to the level of proficiency necessary to enable them to operate as co-pilot on multi-pilot, multi-engine airplanes in commercial air transportation and to obtain the CPL (A) IR/MEP. The course shall last no less than twelve (12) months, and no more than thirty six (36) months. During this period the applicant shall complete all the instructional stages of both theoretical and flight training, under the supervision of AIRPLANAVIATION Approved Training Organization (ATO).

Pre-entry requirements

According to ORA.ATO.145, before admission, an applicant shall have:

  • Sufficient knowledge of Mathematics, Physics, and English to facilitate an understanding of the theoretical knowledge instruction content of the course. The applicant shall demonstrate his knowledge on the above subjects, to the Head of Training, by writing a pre-entry knowledge test.
  • An applicant for ATP (A) shall be at least 18 years of age, and shall hold a valid Class 1 medical certificate.

Training Syllabi

The course shall comprise:
  • Theoretical knowledge instruction to the ATPL (A) knowledge level; which comprises of thirteen (13) theoretical subjects, 750 hours of instruction. The Ground School’s duration can last from six (6) to eight (8) months
  • Visual and instrument flying training SEP / MEP; The flying training shall comprise a total of 202 hours, of which 176 single engine (SEP), 11 multi engine (MEP) and 15 Multi Crew Co-operation, not including examination flight (2 hours with a multi-engine airplane). The duration of the flying training usually lasts twelve (12) to eighteen (18) months.
  • Training in multi-crew co-operation of multi-pilot airplanes. In addition to the ATPL Theoretical Course, 25 hours of Theoretical instruction are added for the MCC course. The MCC course is also available on the Airbus 320 type in order to better prepare the student pilot for the airline industry. Variable rates apply.
